The Waterfront Players are delighted to be celebrating the completion of ten years of bringing extraordinary, high-quality, sophisticated, semiprofessional theater to the southern Oregon coast.

The next phase for the organization is being formulated and will continue following the closing of the Waterfront Playhouse in Pony Village Mall at the end of June. When we formed the Waterfront Players in 1997, we planned to take our productions 'on the road' around the region. Thus, our original name was the 'Whimsical and Peripatectic Waterfront Players,' or WP Squared.' Our immediate plans include production of a new play by Judy Mc Donald which is the outcropping of a conference on Women and the Theater in the 21st century which was sponsered by the Players last September.

We would like to say 'Thank You' to all those people who spent a portion of their lives participating with us in the thirty plus productions that we have had the pleasure of staging in Our Playhouse in the mall.
