The Waterfront Players Repertory Company was formed in 1997:

- to form a company of players and techies, who take classes, read, rehearse, perform and create together;

- to bring theater out of the shadows and out to the people;

- to teach basic and advanced theater skills;

- to perform classic, little-known, and cutting edge contemporary work;

- to develop and produce new work, by Oregon writers.
